The work I get as a Commercial Photographer in Lincolnshire can be very varied and I regularly travel further afield for commissions. One such job was to photograph the East Midland finalists of the 2016 British Takeaway Awards (in association with Just Eat), which took me to Leicester and Nottingham as well as Sleaford in Lincolnshire.
I really enjoy this type of commercial photography as I get to meet different people in a variety of locations and every restaurant has it’s own look. Often it can give a chance for some creative photography, and a major perk is that quite often I get to taste delicious food! The competition was open to all of the the most popular takeaways, voted for by the customers, and included incredible Indian curry houses, perfect pizzerias, fantastic fish and chips and mouthwatering Chinese restaurants. The finalist that I visited were Chris’s Fish and Chips (who went on to win the East Midlands area), Karikana, Bombay Bites, Little Italy Pizza Company, and Spice Takeaway.
