I am a huge advocate of family portraiture. Ok ok, so I know that as a photographer that may sound like a pretty obvious thing for me to say. But speaking as a mother I know just how quickly time passes, and how before you know it your children are grown up, and where are the photos?! As a photographer I love family portraits, especially when it involves lovely people, a relaxed walk in a great location and lots of laughs. One such shoot was with Helen and Richard Turner and their boys Ben and Jack, and I just adore these family portraits that they are going to have hanging on their walls.
Portrait sessions also make fantastic gifts. For more information contact me here.
We had a great time at Hubbards Hills, where the leaves were just the most shades of orange (and perfectly matched Ben’s favourite colour!). We had lots of fun and some excellent conversations (especially about Spiderman, Lego and letters to Father Christmas). The relaxed environment was perfect to get natural-looking photographs of the boys and gave the family a chance to spend quality time together, make some memories, AND get a fabulous family portrait that they can treasure for years to come.
Here is the lovely testimonial that I received from the family after the shoot.
“After spending a wonderful afternoon at Hubbards Hills in Louth with Vicki (and her camera) we now have the most amazing family photos on our living rooms walls. Our 2 boys loved being photograph

Children are often really interested in seeing how they look on the back of camera. Jack and I were so engrossed with looking at his pictures we didn’t notice his mum getting these phone pictures. Thanks Helen x
